Joel Dunlap

Joel Dunlap is a reader, writer, and teacher of poetry. He earned a BA in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters of Education from Eastern Nazarene College. He teaches ELA at the high school level and incorporates poetry reading and writing as a weekly part of his curriculum. Some of his favorite poets include Anne Sexton, e. e. Cummings, Mary Oliver, Naomi Shihab Nye, and Tracy K. Smith. His writing advice is to write, write, write, and revise, revise, revise. Writing is not a thing to be done but rather a thing to be doing.
