The world is fractured, broken, hopeless.
The snow globe has shattered.
The fragments lie wet on the floor.
Adina Gerwin is 17 years old and lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in
New York City. She is a Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange fellow and is
currently spending her junior year studying abroad in Hamburg, Germany. She is
also a contributor and editor of Kidspirit Magazine and has been published in the
