It's gotten to that point again.

I’ve destroyed myself just to

build

myself

back

up again.

I let myself go,

washing away into the Cold

disappearing from everyone

like dust.

But how can I build a

solid foundation from

just dust?

I am left to figure it out

with my hands full of tears.

Melissa Miskic is an aspiring young poet whose works primarily focus on heavy topics that aren't usually discussed amongst teens. These topics include depression, burn out, and failure. She hopes to inspire her readers to be open about having discussions over these topics as it is important to her to change the stigmas that are facing teens in this world.
